Historic tax credits support the rehabilitation and repurposing of buildings for a wide range of uses, including affordable housing. Some of these projects pair historic tax credits with low-income housing tax credits, while others simply take advantage of the historic tax credit to modulate rental rates. Elizabeth has given this topic a lot of thought recently.
