Holden and Pine Streets Commercial Historic District, Warrensburg

Rosin Preservation prepared a National Register nomination for a historic district that documents the commercial growth and evolution of the community from 1870 – 1960. The 86 buildings in this district encompass a wide range of historic uses – the country courthouse and the town railroad depot, social halls and restaurants, as well as a spectrum of businesses, shops and offices. Critical to the success of the project, Rosin Preservation met with property and business owners while the field work was underway and after the nomination was drafted to discuss the implications, including the ability to access state and federal historic tax credits.
