Hotel Metro

What a difference updated finishes makes! The Hotel Metro is located in the John Mariner Building in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Built in 1937, the building is one of the best examples of Moderne architecture in the city. The exterior of the building needed little work, but the building’s interior had finishes designed in the late 1990s that were beginning to show their age. Rosin Preservation facilitated the submittal of a historic tax credit application, consulting with the architects on the rehabilitation of the Hotel Metro. The newly renovated interiors are updated with modern finishes, breathing new life into the expanding arts, entertainment, and business district of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
